Description

  • Serve as the primary product point of contact for large API-integrated Carrot Ads partners and manage product requests, escalations, and business reviews.
  • Own publisher-facing infrastructure and features for partner integration and operation on Instacart’s ads stack, including APIs, documentation, controls, ad serving quality, reliability, reporting, billing, and revenue share systems.
  • Drive strategic initiatives to expand Carrot Ads into new areas such as in-store and B2B offerings.
  • Identify and develop opportunities to grow the program across new partner segments and verticals.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration across Ads R&D, Measurement, Ads Quality, Formats, Storefront, Strategy & Planning, Product Marketing, and Commercial Enablement.
  • Prioritize cross-partner roadmaps and represent Carrot Ads in leadership forums over time.
  • Support partner-specific product improvements that help retain partners and grow revenue.
  • Work directly with engineering and external partners to shape technical and business decisions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience with ownership of complex, cross-functional product areas.
  • Experience building or owning B2B platform products.
  • Strong technical acumen and comfort working with engineering on API design, data pipelines, or serving infrastructure.
  • Experience managing external partner or customer relationships in a product role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and executive audiences.
  • Experience in ad tech, retail media, or marketplace advertising, especially on the supply/publisher side (preferred).
  • Familiarity with programmatic advertising concepts such as auction mechanics, ad serving, attribution, billing/revenue share, and reporting infrastructure (preferred).
  • Prior experience owning a platform that enabled third-party businesses to operate, such as a white-label ad platform, marketplace API, or embedded commerce product (preferred).
  • Experience driving strategic expansion into new business verticals or partner segments (preferred).
  • Ability to ship in ambiguous, high-stakes environments where scope and requirements are evolving (preferred).
