Description

  • Drive automation and AI-enabled workflows to streamline complex financial processes and data extraction.
  • Analyze FAR/DFARS compliance requirements and support regulatory reporting and documentation.
  • Develop and model indirect rates across multiple business units for internal planning and external compliance.
  • Support the preparation and audit of Forward Pricing Rate Proposals (FPRP) and Incurred Cost Proposals (ICP).
  • Partner with FP&A, Pricing, Accounting, and Business Operations to improve processes and resolve inefficiencies.
  • Evaluate accounting changes and assess their impact on rate structures and government submissions.
  • Prepare formal policy and procedure documentation and summarize regulatory updates.
  • Support DCAA/DCMA audits and other government finance compliance activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related quantitative field.
  • 3+ years of progressive finance or accounting experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience in government contracting, project accounting, or indirect rate analysis.
  • Some knowledge and practical application of FAR, DFARS, and CAS.
  • Advanced analytical skills with a high level of accuracy.
  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and modeling, and/or AI tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize deliverables, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn new tools, systems, and advanced financial concepts.
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to access requirements for U.S. export-controlled information and facilities.
  • Preferred: direct experience or strong interest in using Generative AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT for data analysis, summarization, or automation.
  • Preferred: familiarity with government accounting systems and ERP/reporting tools such as Deltek Costpoint, Oracle, Hyperion, and Smartview.
