Description

  • Identify, design, and implement automated workflows using Claude to streamline financial processes and contract data analysis.
  • Automate compliance reporting, summarize regulatory updates, and draft policy and procedure documentation using AI tools.
  • Conduct indirect rate analysis and modeling to support internal planning and external compliance across multiple business units.
  • Support the preparation and audit of Forward Pricing Rate Proposals (FPRP) and Incurred Cost Proposals (ICP).
  • Partner with FP&A, Pricing, Accounting, and Business Operations to improve processes and support ad hoc financial projects.
  • Evaluate accounting changes and assess their impact on rate structures and government submissions.
  • Analyze FAR, DFARS, and compliance guidelines to support regulatory accuracy and reporting.
  • Drive corrective actions by identifying process inefficiencies and working cross-functionally to resolve them.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related quantitative field.
  • 3+ years of progressive finance or accounting experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience in government contracting, project accounting, or indirect rate analysis.
  • Some knowledge and practical application of FAR, DFARS, and CAS.
  • Advanced analytical skills with a high level of accuracy.
  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and modeling, and/or AI tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong intellectual curiosity and a willingness to learn new tools, systems, and advanced financial concepts.
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to access requirements for U.S. export-controlled information and facilities.
  • Experience using generative AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT for analysis, summarization, or process automation is preferred.
  • Familiarity with government accounting systems and ERP/reporting tools such as Deltek Costpoint, Oracle, Hyperion, or Smartview is preferred.
