Description

  • Design and execute advanced experiments that measure advertising value and optimize campaigns.
  • Analyze experiment data and translate findings into actionable recommendations for ad performance and measurement outcomes.
  • Develop innovative metrics and data visualizations tailored to stakeholder and client needs.
  • Partner with stakeholders to shape media measurement strategies and solve ambiguous measurement challenges.
  • Present experimental findings and data-driven insights to senior clients with clear executive presence.
  • Lead discussions, trainings, and Q&A sessions on ad measurement and experimentation for clients and internal teams.
  • Identify strategic opportunities for client upsell and internal operational improvements using analytics insights.
  • Develop customized analytical solutions, including code, dashboards, and self-service tools.
  • Represent Instacart’s measurement capabilities to leading CPG brands and agency partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Engineering, Mathematics/Statistics, Finance, Economics, or Business.
  • 6+ years of experience in data and measurement or consulting fields with expertise in statistical data analytics.
  • 3+ years of experience in advertising efficacy, media/marketing measurement, and experimentation.
  • Advanced expertise in experimentation techniques, including A/B testing, holdout designs, and incrementality measurement.
  • Strong data storytelling and advanced visualization skills using Tableau or Mode.
  • Experience developing self-service tools and dashboards for stakeholders.
  • Strong SQL skills and proficiency in Python or R for custom analytical solutions.
  • Track record of turning analytics insights into strategic recommendations that drive business outcomes.
  • Ability to work independently, with curiosity, active listening, creativity, and strong organization.
  • Preferred: 4+ years of conducting and presenting lift measurement studies to clients.
  • Preferred: Experience directing sales teams in an analytic or quantitative capacity.
  • Preferred: Advanced knowledge of marketing mix modeling, Bayesian analysis, and causal inference.
  • Preferred: Ability to automate processes using AI-driven tools and workflows.
  • Preferred: Technical expertise in A/A testing, SRM detection, and measurement validity techniques.
  • Preferred: Comprehensive knowledge of ad auction mechanics, targeting algorithms, and attribution models.

  • Base pay range in Canada: $140,000 to $148,000 CAD.
