Description

  • Own the monthly close and deliver accurate, review-ready GAAP financial statements.
  • Manage revenue recognition, invoicing, accounts receivable and payable, payroll accounting, and departmental allocations.
  • Prepare consolidated financial statements for international entities, including intercompany eliminations, foreign exchange, and transfer pricing support.
  • Lead the annual external audit, including PBC requests, auditor relationships, and timely audit opinions.
  • Coordinate tax support with external CPAs and maintain strong internal controls.
  • Build and manage the annual budget, rolling forecasts, variance analysis, KPI dashboards, and board and investor reporting.
  • Support pricing, hiring, and cash-flow planning through financial analysis.
  • Own accounting systems and integrations across HubSpot, Ramp, Deel, and QuickBooks, improving finance processes.
  • Use Grok and Claude to automate close, reconciliations, reporting, and analysis.
  • Support M&A diligence, integration, post-close accounting, and the development of a scalable finance team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience, including 3+ years as a Controller or Assistant Controller.
  • Experience in professional services is preferred.
  • Experience with multi-entity consolidations, international subsidiaries, and intercompany eliminations.
  • Strong experience with accounting software, particularly NetSuite and QuickBooks Online.
  • Strong knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition for services and project-based billing.
  • Experience managing external audits; Big Four or national accounting firm background is a plus.
  • Demonstrated FP&A experience in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and advanced Excel modeling.
  • Hands-on experience using Grok and Claude to improve finance speed and accuracy.
  • M&A diligence or integration exposure and experience in private equity-backed or high-growth environments are preferred.
