Description

  • Build, scale, and maintain backend and frontend services that power Insider One’s core analytics systems.
  • Maintain and evolve large-scale data stores to ensure fast, reliable access to analytics data at massive scale.
  • Develop and optimize high-throughput, low-latency systems used by internal teams and customer-facing dashboards.
  • Contribute to event ingestion pipelines, API development, data enrichment, and metric generation flows.
  • Collaborate with backend and data engineers to improve performance, reliability, and observability.
  • Write clean, modular, and testable code and participate in code reviews and engineering best practices.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize complex systems to meet real-time and scale requirements.

Requirements

  • Strong backend development experience with Go and/or Node.js and PHP Laravel.
  • Strong frontend development experience with Vue.js.
  • Experience working on data-heavy systems where performance at scale is critical.
  • Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL and Redis (or similar).
  • Proactive communicator who takes initiative and addresses issues without direction.
  • Experience or interest in building real-time systems and writing maintainable backend code.
  • Nice to have: experience with ClickHouse, Kafka, Kinesis, or NATS.
  • Nice to have: familiarity with Kubernetes, AWS, distributed architectures, event-driven design, streaming pipelines, or gRPC.
