Description

  • Co-own the global joint business plan with the Shopify counterpart, including sales and marketing plans.
  • Collaborate on go-to-market planning and track progress against plan.
  • Lead joint roadmap development and scoping with Insider One product and Shopify tech partnership teams.
  • Align with Shopify on sales enablement and account mapping initiatives.
  • Update the app listing and partner directory to highlight Insider One with brands.
  • Monitor required migrations and APIs related to the Shopify integration.
  • Investigate opportunities to improve the integration or build new products for joint customers.
  • Manage partner program certification questionnaires with input from relevant internal teams.
  • Collaborate with regional partnership and sales teams to drive global growth initiatives with Shopify.
  • Plan and execute joint activation at key industry events and trade shows.
  • Plan and execute co-marketing activities with Shopify in collaboration with marketing teams.
  • Generate leads and track pipeline and revenue generated through the Shopify partnership.
  • Increase Insider One’s brand awareness globally through the Shopify relationship.
  • Keep product, sales, marketing, solution consulting, and customer success teams informed of progress.
  • Work with global offices to improve partnership practices, expand partner portfolios, and grow the partnership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) required.
  • 10+ years of experience in eCommerce and/or customer engagement platforms.
  • Deep familiarity with the joint value proposition of Shopify and customer engagement platform providers, especially for B2C merchant sales motions.
  • Familiarity with Shopify customer success processes aimed at increasing merchant GMV is a strong plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to simplify complex issues into clear frameworks.
  • Deep understanding of solution selling with a joint solution offering from Insider One and Shopify.
  • Ability to set clear partner targets and create plans to achieve them.
  • Strong written and presentation skills, with the ability to create customer-facing content such as presentations and datasheets.
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines.
  • Experience with the B2B SaaS business model; marketing technology experience is preferred but not required.
