Description

  • Review monthly, quarterly, and bi-annual invoices for Enhanced Services programs with Payer Account Managers to ensure accuracy.
  • Send finalized pharmacy and PQS invoice details to the accounting department for each payer on a monthly basis.
  • Coordinate payment processing with Finance and Accounting teams to support accurate disbursement.
  • Verify independent pharmacy affiliations after payments are received to ensure the correct organization is paid.
  • Send revised payment details to accounting for end-of-month disbursement.
  • Share monthly payment breakdowns by organization with enterprise pharmacy contacts.
  • Collect W-9 and EFT information from organizations and follow up on outstanding items.
  • Track PQS revenue for Enhanced Services payments and monitor payments by payee.
  • Answer payment-related tickets and inquiries from organizations and pharmacies.
  • Collaborate with internal PQS teams and parent companies to support successful execution of the company mission and plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, payment operations, or financial coordination.
  • Preferred experience in a healthcare or healthcare technology environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple recurring deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data management tools.
  • Experience with healthcare provider data is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain professional relationships across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and deliver results under pressure.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, follow business protocol, and meet sensitive recurring timelines.
  • Preferred prior experience with payment operations, billing, or payer invoicing in a healthcare environment.
  • Familiarity with pharmacy industry identifiers such as NPI, NCPDP, and Tax ID numbers.
  • Experience with EFT and ACH disbursement processes.
