Description

  • Collect, clean, and analyze large healthcare datasets, including medical claims, pharmacy, encounter data, and patient registries.
  • Conduct descriptive and inferential statistical analyses to evaluate healthcare utilization, treatment effectiveness, cost-effectiveness, and patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external clients to design and execute HEOR studies aligned with research objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Generate reports, presentations, and visualizations that communicate findings clearly to decision-makers.
  • Support business growth by building and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Stay current on HEOR trends, methodologies, and best practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure ethical and secure handling of sensitive healthcare information in compliance with data privacy and regulatory guidelines.

Requirements

  • Formal training in statistics, mathematics, epidemiology, health economics, public health, or a related field.
  • Advanced degree such as a Master’s or PhD in a quantitative field like health economics, statistics, operational research, mathematics, data science, biostatistics, or epidemiology is preferred.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in healthcare data analysis, preferably in HEOR, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or biotechnology.
  • Proficiency with statistical software such as SAS, R, STATA, or Python.
  • Strong understanding of data manipulation, regression analysis, and predictive modeling techniques.
  • Familiarity with healthcare databases and coding systems such as ICD, CPT, and HCPCS.
  • Experience or knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid data is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex healthcare data and generate actionable insights.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to diverse audiences.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
