Description

  • Lead projects independently, with occasional support from an Assistant Project Manager, and manage a larger book of business.
  • Oversee end-to-end project development in accordance with established business processes and quality standards.
  • Coordinate med/legal submission preparation and submission in line with client guidelines.
  • Create project status documents and provide updates across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead daily and weekly production meetings.
  • Develop project milestones, detailed schedules, staffing plans, and budget tracking to keep deliverables on time and within budget.
  • Monitor project and campaign budgets, lead monthly reconciliation meetings, and create client budget reports with finance support as needed.
  • Identify project risks and secure the resources needed for ongoing work by coordinating with resourcing and other project managers.
  • Own relationships with vendor and agency partners related to execution and deliverables.
  • Support and manage an Assistant Project Manager, including training and bi-weekly 1:1 meetings.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience.
  • Pharmaceutical marketing agency experience required; AOR experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree (BA).
  • Experience managing large cross-functional teams across account services, creative, strategy, database, interactive, and print production.
  • Experience working with multiple vendors and managing their timelines and needs.
  • Experience using MS Project or SmartSheets.
  • Advanced experience using a project management financial platform.
  • Excellent Excel skills.
  • Experience leading process improvement efforts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • West coast based and able to travel to the San Francisco office as needed.
