Description

  • Develop product strategy, roadmap, packaging, pricing, and positioning for a defined solutions portfolio.
  • Build hands-on expertise across Zeta’s issuing, core banking, lending, payments, fraud, digital banking, and AI platforms.
  • Design institution-specific product propositions, program structures, compliance models, operating models, and unit economics.
  • Conduct technical discovery and develop target architectures, integration designs, coexistence plans, and conversion paths for large financial institutions.
  • Package recurring customer needs into repeatable solutions with defined scope, pricing logic, launch checklists, roadmaps, and adoption measures.
  • Build and maintain demo environments, reference architectures, and objection-handling materials across credit, prepaid, debit, new-program, and conversion use cases.
  • Lead proofs of concept, bake-offs, technical RFP/RFI responses, security questionnaires, due diligence, and architecture, security, and procurement reviews.
  • Gather win/loss, customer, and usage insights to define product requirements and influence platform roadmap priorities.
  • Develop sponsor bank and fintech partnerships as repeatable channels and support positioning, case studies, and industry forums.
  • Mentor and work with engineers and product managers while owning a 0-to-1 function without an initial team.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience across technology and commercial roles in banking or fintech, spanning more than one of engineering, product, solutions engineering, or customer success.
  • Experience owning a product or solution line across strategy, roadmap, packaging, pricing, and launch.
  • Experience defining or launching a financial product with a bank, sponsor bank, fintech, or payments company through compliance review to live customers.
  • Experience selling or building technology for US banks, credit unions, fintechs, program managers, or sponsor banks through architecture, security, and procurement reviews.
  • Working knowledge of sponsor bank oversight and third-party risk.
  • Hands-on experience with card issuing and processing; expertise in revolving credit balances, interest and fee logic, delinquency, and ledger systems is strongly preferred.
  • Breadth across at least two domains: core banking, deposits, payments, cards, lending, or digital banking.
  • Ability to develop product economics, including interest, fees, interchange, and reserves, within compliant bank-fintech programs.
  • Strong technical command of architecture, APIs, data models, integrations, and phased migration or coexistence designs.
  • Preferred experience leading a product or solutions function at a sponsor bank, bank-fintech platform, or payments company; leading a live core migration; or holding a technical degree.
