Description

Own accounts payable operations, including vendor onboarding, invoice processing, payment administration, and vendor statement reconciliations.
Support payroll accounting, benefit accruals, commission accruals, and payroll-related account reconciliations.
Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and month-end close deliverables.
Maintain prepaid expense, fixed asset, accrual schedules, and other accounting records.
Prepare financial statements and reporting in accordance with US GAAP.
Assist with state and local tax registrations, annual reports, business license renewals, and other compliance filings.
Support annual financial statement audits by preparing audit schedules and providing documentation.
Maintain accounting records in NetSuite and support system improvements and process efficiencies.
Collaborate on financial policy and procedure development and implementation.
Support billing, collections, and revenue accounting projects as needed.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
5+ years of experience in financial management roles with relevant experience.
SaaS experience required.
NetSuite experience required.
Strong understanding of US GAAP, including technology-related requirements and complex/non-routine transactions.
Strong understanding of general ledger accounting.
Experience with accounts payable, payroll accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close.
Strong Excel skills.
Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative accounting team.
CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
Bill pay experience preferred.
