Description

Design and build core systems, APIs, and services that power platform capabilities and member-facing applications.
Solve complex integration challenges across diverse healthcare data sources and workflows.
Build features and infrastructure that improve usability, efficiency, and outcomes.
Ensure systems are reliable, performant, secure, and maintainable.
Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering partners to align on technical direction and product goals.
Own projects end to end, including scope, build, test, launch, and maintenance.
Mentor teammates and contribute to engineering culture and best practices.
Make thoughtful technical decisions and provide technical leadership across the team.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years of professional software development experience.
Strong expertise in at least one modern backend or systems language such as Golang, Python, Java, or Ruby.
Experience designing and building APIs, distributed systems, or developer platforms.
Experience with relational or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with microservices architectures.
Ability to balance technical tradeoffs with product and business impact.
Comfort working in collaborative, cross-functional teams.
