Description

  • Serve as the enterprise subject matter expert for Leave of Absence programs and ADA, providing guidance to employees, managers, and Talent Partners on policy and compliance.
  • Lead end-to-end administration of leave programs including FMLA, ADA, state leaves, workers’ compensation, and parental leave.
  • Own the full leave lifecycle from intake through return-to-work, coordinating communication and documentation across stakeholders.
  • Oversee third-party leave vendor relationships and performance to ensure timely processing, service-level adherence, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide consultation on ADA interactive processes and workers’ compensation matters to support consistent and equitable decisions.
  • Act as liaison for ADA-related documentation and guide managers and Talent Partners through the accommodation process.
  • Partner with Benefits to identify trends, risks, and process gaps and implement scalable improvements to leave operations.
  • Work with Payroll to ensure accurate and timely pay administration for employees on leave and resolve discrepancies through semi-monthly reconciliations.
  • Collaborate with Workday/HRIS teams to improve workflows, automation, and data integrity across leave programs.
  • Manage leave-related inquiries through JIRA while maintaining SLA standards and improving service delivery.

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of related experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of employee leave of absence processes and applicable laws, including FMLA, ADA, and Workers’ Compensation.
  • Ability to make independent decisions in complex situations.
  • Strong attention to detail and a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to keep information confidential and handle sensitive issues with empathy and strong judgment.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to produce results in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Proficient Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of Workday; prior Workday experience is a strong plus.
  • Ability to work appropriately with leadership, employees, and members.
  • Physical capability to remain seated for prolonged periods and use standard office equipment, with occasional lifting up to 20 lbs.
