Description

  • Provide clinical and program oversight for maternity, newborn, NICU, and pediatric clinicians.
  • Serve as the clinical escalation point and coordinate complex clinical resolution with other leaders and subject matter experts.
  • Oversee development, implementation, and maintenance of clinical standards, evidence-based care pathways, and educational materials.
  • Directly supervise and/or provide clinical oversight to advanced practice providers.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to define clinical requirements and shape clinical tooling and product features.
  • Use clinical insight, performance data, and population-level trends to identify care gaps and improvement opportunities.
  • Design and evolve maternal and pediatric programs to improve quality, outcomes, and scalability.
  • Manage clinicians against productivity, documentation, quality, and safety expectations.
  • Conduct performance reviews, coaching, feedback, and team development.
  • Collaborate with Practice Ops and Credentialing on onboarding, training, credentialing, and licensing.

Requirements

  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
  • Board certified in family medicine, med-peds, or a related specialty.
  • Minimum of 5 years of post-residency clinical experience caring for prenatal, postpartum, and pediatric patients in a generalist setting.
  • Active medical license in good standing in the state of residence.
  • Willingness to obtain licensure in additional states as needed.
  • Experience leading clinicians in a performance-driven environment using quality, productivity, and operational metrics.
  • Experience working in digital health or virtual care delivery models preferred.
  • Comfort integrating clinical AI tools into day-to-day workflows and direct care delivery preferred.
  • Knowledge of the medical, behavioral, and social factors that drive poor outcomes and avoidable cost across complex populations preferred.
  • Lives in a physician compact-eligible state preferred.
