Description

  • Diagnose and repair electric vehicle charging infrastructure using computer diagnostics and basic electrical repair techniques.
  • Maintain detailed records of repairs and installations and coordinate with third-party vendors to support project execution.
  • Complete service work and projects on time, within scope, and within budget while managing resources and client expectations.
  • Promote additional services such as service agreements, preventative maintenance plans, and monitoring software to generate revenue and sales leads.
  • Create warm leads for the sales team, ask for referrals, and help expand the customer base.
  • Provide and maintain required hand tools needed to perform EV charger service work.
  • Follow safety protocols and procedures when working with high voltage equipment and in varying environmental conditions.
  • Track charging infrastructure performance, prepare progress reports, and escalate issues to management when needed.
  • Maintain professionalism at client sites and build strong working relationships with vendors and third parties.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in electrical, EV, or a related client-facing role.
  • Associate’s degree or certification in a relevant technical field.
  • Strong knowledge of electric vehicle charging systems, EV technology, and electrical systems.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues effectively.
  • Self-starter with a proactive attitude and adaptability in a start-up environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to travel 50%-75% and fly domestically for work-related travel.
  • Must provide and maintain a personal set of hand tools required for the role.
  • Comfort working in physically demanding conditions, including lifting, climbing, kneeling, ladders, extreme temperatures, confined quarters, noise, and high-voltage environments.
