Description

  • Design, code, test, and operate cloud services, especially on AWS.
  • Build scalable and resilient solutions that support high availability and fault tolerance.
  • Develop robust and efficient APIs.
  • Prioritize product improvements based on data and business impact.
  • Analyze production systems and drive continuous improvements in performance and reliability.
  • Create tools and structures to identify performance bottlenecks through measuring, monitoring, and optimization.
  • Contribute to backend opportunities across different seniority levels within a continuous recruiting pipeline.
  • Collaborate on technical discussions and documentation such as RFCs and ADRs.
  • Work with product and business discussions to inform technical decisions.

Requirements

  • Passion for object-oriented software development and functional programming.
  • Experience with automated testing, distributed systems, and secure software development.
  • Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, data modeling, and query writing.
  • Familiarity with queues, topics, and asynchronous communication such as SQS, SNS, and RabbitMQ.
  • Interest in programming with Java, Kotlin, and/or Rust.
  • Experience with cloud environments, especially AWS, plus scalability and infrastructure as code.
  • Knowledge of Linux, Kubernetes, Docker, and Kafka.
  • Experience with microservices and solving concurrency problems.
  • Preferred experience with data lakes and processing large volumes of data.
  • Preferred familiarity with DevOps practices and tools such as Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
  • Preferred experience with Databricks and analytical pipelines.
  • Preferred knowledge of AppSec, privacy regulations such as GDPR and LGPD, and performance optimization.
  • Preferred analytical background and proximity to business and product discussions.
  • Preferred experience participating in technical discussions such as RFCs and ADRs and using advanced observability tools.
