Description

  • Design, implement, and manage Kubernetes infrastructure across public and private cloud environments.
  • Maintain and support HashiCorp Vault and Consul services.
  • Develop and maintain AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.
  • Build automation scripts and tools for provisioning, configuration management, and deployment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define infrastructure and deployment requirements and provide DevOps best-practice guidance.
  • Monitor system performance and implement improvements to scalability, availability, and security.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues, including performance, network connectivity, and security problems.
  • Implement backup, failover, and recovery mechanisms to ensure high availability and disaster recovery.
  • Enforce security best practices such as access controls, encryption, and vulnerability management.
  • Conduct system audits and maintain documentation for infrastructure, configurations, and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer.
  • Strong expertise in Kubernetes, including deploying, scaling, and managing containerized applications.
  • Extensive knowledge of HashiCorp Vault and Consul, including secrets management, access controls, and service discovery.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation with Bash, Python, or Ruby.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and security principles.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
  • Relevant certifications in Kubernetes, HashiCorp products, or related technologies (preferred).
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Splunk (preferred).
  • Knowledge of Docker Swarm or Red Hat OpenShift (preferred).
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture and service meshes such as Istio (preferred).
  • Understanding of agile development methodologies and DevOps principles (preferred).
