Description

  • Design and maintain advanced Shopify Plus stores using Liquid, JavaScript (ES6+), and React.
  • Build custom Shopify apps and integrations with ERP, CRM, PIM, and payment gateway systems.
  • Implement and optimize headless commerce architectures using Hydrogen, Remix, Oxygen, or Next.js.
  • Develop backend solutions and middleware with Node.js or Ruby on Rails for data processing and webhooks.
  • Improve Core Web Vitals, technical SEO, and conversion rate optimization across digital storefronts.
  • Partner with designers and marketers to turn creative concepts into functional digital products.
  • Maintain clean, reusable codebases and comprehensive documentation to support scalability.
  • Own the technical roadmap for the digital storefront, with responsibility for speed, security, and scalability.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years of professional experience as a Fullstack Developer with a primary focus on Shopify.
  • Deep expertise in Liquid, Shopify APIs (REST and GraphQL), and Shopify theme architecture.
  • Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, and Node.js.
  • Experience with Next.js or Hydrogen is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of Checkout Extensibility and Shopify Functions is a significant plus.
  • Proven experience integrating external systems via APIs and managing complex webhooks.
  • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile development methodologies.
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken, for technical collaboration.
  • Experience with international ecommerce, including multi-currency and multi-language compliance, is preferred.
  • Familiarity with the Shopify app ecosystem, such as Klaviyo, Gorgias, and PageFly, is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced agency or high-growth DTC brand is preferred.
