Description

  • Collaborate with the Testing Lead, Momentum subject matter experts, government stakeholders, and vendors to plan and conduct functional testing.
  • Review requirements, user stories, and business process flows to define test coverage for new configurations.
  • Develop, update, and maintain test plans, test cases, and scripts for new and modified functionality.
  • Execute system integration, regression, progressive integration, and user acceptance testing activities.
  • Run manual and automated test scripts, document results, and prepare testing summary reports.
  • Identify, analyze, support resolution of, retest, and close defects.
  • Partner with the automated test team to identify high-frequency tests suitable for automation.
  • Prepare materials for and support facilitation of UAT training.
  • Mentor junior testers and potentially lead a small team of testers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 8 years of total professional experience, including testing Momentum Financials or another large-scale ERP system.
  • At least 4 years of testing experience developing, validating, and executing test scripts; documenting results and evidence; and supporting defect resolution and retesting.
  • Experience reviewing functional requirements, user stories, business process flows, or similar documentation to create test scenarios and scripts.
  • Knowledge of federal financial business processes.
  • Understanding of testing strategies, methodologies, defect management, iterative testing, and end-to-end testing.
  • Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills for technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with government stakeholders, developers, functional teams, and external vendors.
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
  • Experience with the Department of Veterans Affairs, Agility, and Agile development environments (preferred).
