Description

  • Manage, oversee, and ensure successful execution and performance of assigned clients’ marketing campaigns (email, SMS, pop-ups, flows).
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular meetings, clear communication, and responsive service to meet client expectations and revenue goals.
  • Lead and coordinate teams of Copywriters, Designers, and Account Manager Associates by briefing campaigns, delegating creative work, outlining campaign calendars, and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Plan, develop, and implement marketing strategies for assigned clients, managing approximately 40 unique marketing campaigns per month.
  • Collect and analyze campaign and consumer data to set weekly goals, identify trends, optimize campaigns, and inform client recommendations.
  • Report regularly on campaign performance, including revenue from email marketing, top-performing campaigns, A/B test results, and optimization measures taken.
  • Act as liaison between clients and cross-functional teams to implement new services/products and identify upsell or expansion opportunities.
  • Monitor client churn and implement retention strategies in coordination with the Service Director, and troubleshoot client satisfaction or campaign performance issues.
  • Participate in Account Managers’ group calls, training and skill-building sessions, and collaborate with the Service Department to maintain high standards and meet KPIs.

Requirements

  • Minimum 12 months’ experience in a digital marketing role and at least 6 months’ experience specifically in email marketing.
  • Proven track record in a leadership role managing teams of creatives (Account Managers’ Associates, Designers, Copywriters).
  • Experience with email marketing and e-commerce platforms; familiarity with Klaviyo is a strong plus.
  • Proficient with collaboration and productivity tools such as Slack, Hubstaff, Asana, and Google Workspace.
  • Ability to work independently with high accountability, meet deadlines, and maintain professional responsiveness and consistency.
  • Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical, and time-management skills.
  • Comfortable working remotely and managing remote teams; remote work experience preferred and experience working with teammates in different countries is advantageous.
  • Availability during office hours (Mondays–Fridays between 3–6 PM Barcelona time) and ability to consistently work 30–35 hours per week (approximately 140 hours/month).
  • Stable internet connection and a laptop or PC capable of attending virtual video conferences; fluent verbal and written English.
  • Willingness to sign an NDA, accept contractor status, and adhere to an exclusivity agreement and a 30-day notice period after the initial two-month trial/adaptation period.
