Description

  • Lead multiple high-performing platform engineering teams that build the foundation for Huntress’s security products.
  • Deliver performant, scalable products iteratively while balancing near-term customer value with long-term platform evolution.
  • Drive the technical roadmap and engineering best practices for the product platform to support rapid growth and rising demand.
  • Innovate how AI development tools are used and improve their efficiency over time.
  • Attract, recruit, and retain top engineering talent.
  • Hire and coach engineering managers and help them build effective teams.
  • Set clear expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance conversations with engineering leaders.
  • Measure engineering performance and adjust team structure or processes to improve throughput and efficiency.
  • Identify and implement improvements to engineering practices, processes, product quality, and time-to-market.
  • Partner with engineering, product, architecture, and threat operations leaders to align technology with customer needs.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of engineering leadership experience building SaaS products in a modern SaaS environment.
  • 5+ years of director-level experience or higher.
  • Hands-on experience with Claude Code or similar AI development tools.
  • Experience with scalable delivery, core platform systems, site reliability engineering, and developer experience best practices.
  • Experience developing, evolving, and maintaining high-volume, scalable solutions.
  • Strong understanding of how to organize engineering teams to deliver customer value iteratively.
  • Proven ability to hire, build teams, lead and coach managers, and manage performance.
  • Demonstrated success partnering with architecture and product management leaders on a shared product and technical vision.
  • Experience working in a fully remote environment.
