Description

  • Own technical domains spanning site acquisition, permitting, infrastructure design, construction, deployment tracking, and launch readiness.
  • Design APIs, data models, service boundaries, and architectural patterns for a maintainable, auditable, and observable platform.
  • Build workflows supporting permits, documents, approvals, dependencies, physical assets, state transitions, and exception handling.
  • Integrate ERP, GIS, document management, permitting, construction, asset management, and internal operational systems.
  • Partner with users to design, validate, and drive adoption of tools for operational planning and execution.
  • Operate business-critical services with SLOs, health metrics, observability, runbooks, recovery mechanisms, and on-call participation.
  • Ship production code, review changes, troubleshoot systems, and own capabilities through deployment and operation.
  • Lead cross-functional technical alignment, identify systemic risks, and mentor engineers while improving engineering practices.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of professional experience developing and maintaining full-stack production systems at scale, or equivalent technical mastery.
  • Experience designing maintainable systems, data models, robust APIs, frontend applications, backend services, distributed systems, and infrastructure.
  • Experience modeling long-running workflows, external dependencies, physical assets, complex state transitions, auditability, observability, and failure recovery.
  • Experience building reliable integrations between internal services and external or enterprise systems.
  • Proficiency or willingness to work with technologies such as Python, Go, PostgreSQL, React, Kafka, gRPC, AWS, Grafana, and Honeycomb.
  • Experience delivering measurable improvements in manual effort, cycle time, predictability, throughput, or reliability.
  • Ability to define service-health metrics, reliability goals, runbooks, and incident-review improvements.
  • Strong product judgment, stakeholder communication, cross-functional leadership, and ability to work through ambiguity.
  • Thoughtful use of AI across design, implementation, testing, debugging, and code review.
  • Experience with ERP, GIS, document management, construction, permitting, or asset-management systems is preferred.
  • Ability to travel regularly to headquarters, operating sites, and new-market launches; remote employees may travel for several days approximately monthly.
