Description

  • Lead go-to-market strategy, positioning, naming, messaging, and release marketing for HubSpot’s developer products.
  • Orchestrate launches for technical products including APIs, AI coding tools, MCP, CLI, and the Developer Platform.
  • Define and evolve HubSpot’s builder persona across traditional developers and AI-assisted builders.
  • Partner with Product Management, Developer Relations, Engineering, and executive stakeholders on messaging, launch readiness, and product narratives.
  • Build external narratives that translate complex technical capabilities into clear value for developers, partners, customers, and leadership.
  • Identify and test new routes to market that increase awareness, engagement, and adoption among technical and non-technical builders.
  • Develop launch assets, enablement materials, newsletters, campaign messaging, FAQs, release communications, and technical marketing content.
  • Drive cross-functional coordination across a broad stakeholder network while identifying dependencies and mitigating launch risks.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive positioning, customer feedback, and usage data to refine go-to-market strategy and improve adoption outcomes.
  • Support builder-focused events and launch moments, including quarterly activations and technical product showcases.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in product marketing, technical marketing, or developer-focused go-to-market roles within a SaaS or product-led growth company.
  • Demonstrated success owning and executing end-to-end launches for technical or developer-facing products.
  • Strong understanding of developer ecosystems, APIs, webhooks, CLI, integrations, and technical platform concepts.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience developing positioning, messaging, and narratives for emerging or evolving product categories.
  • Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Strong executive communication and storytelling skills with the ability to influence senior leaders.
  • Data-driven approach to measuring adoption, engagement, and launch effectiveness.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools and workflows to improve efficiency, accelerate execution, and scale marketing operations.
  • High ownership mindset with the ability to operate independently in ambiguous and fast-moving environments.
  • Experience marketing AI infrastructure, developer platforms, APIs, or automation products (preferred).
  • Familiarity with modern AI-assisted coding workflows and builder platforms (preferred).
  • Experience partnering closely with Developer Relations or technical community teams (preferred).
  • Experience supporting technical events, developer communities, or ecosystem marketing programs (preferred).
  • Location in North America.
  • Ability to work remotely or in a hybrid setup.
  • Minimal travel required, with occasional event support as needed.

Benefits

  • Annual cash compensation range of $144,000 to $216,000 USD.
  • Potential eligibility for on-target commission and annual bonus targets for eligible roles.
  • Potential eligibility to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan and receive RSUs for some roles.
