Description

  • Lead the web tracking squad and provide guidance, mentorship, and best practices for high-quality implementation and reporting.
  • Architect and optimize the company’s web analytics infrastructure across multiple digital properties.
  • Implement and maintain tracking solutions using Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Amplitude, and other analytics platforms.
  • Lead server-side tracking implementation to improve data control and reduce client-side load.
  • Standardize data collection and reporting practices to ensure consistent, accurate measurement of user behavior.
  • Collaborate with frontend and backend developers to implement technical tracking solutions across product teams.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and translate complex analytics requirements into actionable insights.
  • Oversee project timelines, prioritize initiatives, allocate resources, and ensure timely delivery of web tracking solutions.
  • Provide strategic recommendations based on data analysis to support leadership decision-making.
  • Establish data governance processes and continuously improve scalable analytics workflows across teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in web analytics implementation and optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with server-side tracking solutions.
  • Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and Amplitude; experience with other analytics platforms is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of web technologies including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong problem-finding and debugging skills.
  • Experience with data visualization tools and SQL.
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations such as GDPR and their impact on analytics.
  • Experience with project tracking and project management tools such as Jira.
  • Experience leading teams or serving in a leadership capacity is preferred.
