Description

  • Run multi-entity month-end close workstreams end to end for assigned areas.
  • Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, schedules, and variance explanations for close deliverables.
  • Maintain audit-ready working papers and clear support for all balance sheet and P&L numbers.
  • Own bank and cash reconciliations across 20+ bank and payment accounts in a multi-entity, multi-currency environment.
  • Resolve open reconciliation items quickly and fix recurring breaks at the root cause.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot subscription revenue flow issues from Chargebee to NetSuite, including sync errors, credit notes, and tax or VAT data changes.
  • Support NetSuite revenue recognition execution and resolve workflow or approval issues that block posting.
  • Help maintain Payhawk spend controls by ensuring invoices, receipts, coding, approvals, payment evidence, and syncs are complete and accurate.
  • Own balance sheet integrity for assigned accounts such as prepaids, accruals, and intercompany balances, including aging and follow-up.
  • Document SOPs and checklists, tighten controls, reduce manual work, and support ad hoc accounting, audit, process, and tax-related requests.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of accounting experience with real month-end close ownership.
  • Strong reconciliation and documentation discipline with the ability to explain every balance.
  • Experience working in an ERP, with NetSuite strongly preferred.
  • Comfort working in a fast-moving, remote environment with proactive communication, high ownership, and low hand-holding.
  • Ability to work under US Eastern or EMEA time zones is preferred; location is otherwise not a requirement.
  • Experience with SaaS subscription billing and revenue processes is a plus, especially Chargebee.
  • Experience with AP and spend tools such as Payhawk or similar is preferred.
  • Experience in multi-entity and multi-currency accounting environments is a plus.

Benefits

  • Total compensation budget of US$98,000.00 - US$107,800.00 depending on location cost of living.
  • International hiring as contractors, or as employees in the United States, the European Union, or Australia.
  • For US employees, gross salary of approximately US$90,384.21 - US$99,422.63.
