Description

  • Design, build, and maintain Java microservices using Spring Boot and JPA/Hibernate.
  • Develop and integrate REST/SOAP services and Kafka-based messaging solutions.
  • Optimize SQL queries and performance on Oracle Database.
  • Contribute to core banking transformation and legacy modernization initiatives.
  • Collaborate within Agile/Scrum teams and provide technical leadership and code reviews.
  • Ensure high availability, resilience, and regulatory compliance across distributed systems.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of enterprise Java development experience, including Java 11/17+.
  • Deep expertise in Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
  • Proven experience with REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
  • Hands-on experience with JPA/Hibernate and Maven or Gradle.
  • Proficiency with Kafka or similar messaging systems and Oracle Database performance tuning.
  • Solid understanding of core banking architecture, integration patterns, and high-availability design.
  • Experience in production-critical financial environments and Agile/Scrum delivery.
  • Fluent English with strong analytical and stakeholder-communication skills.
  • Exposure to core banking platforms such as Oracle FLEXCUBE, Temenos T24, Finacle, Mambu, or Thought Machine (preferred).
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes/OpenShift, and AWS, Azure, or GCP (preferred).
  • Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design, automated testing, and ISO 20022 / SWIFT standards (preferred).
  • Background in core banking migration or transformation programs (preferred).
