Description

  • Write, edit, and format safety manuals, policies, procedures, and guidance documents.
  • Refresh and revise existing documentation to ensure accuracy and alignment with current OSHA/HSE standards.
  • Draft content for construction site safety meetings and toolbox talks.
  • Prepare clear summaries and follow-up notes from safety meetings and client engagements.
  • Research OSHA and industry standards to incorporate regulatory requirements and best practices into content.
  • Validate technical content by collaborating with subject-matter experts.
  • Ensure documents are accurate, consistent, well-formatted, and technically correct.
  • Manage multiple projects at once while meeting deadlines and tracking deliverables for timely completion.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in safety, compliance, or industrial content.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce error-free documentation.
  • High level of accountability and a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines reliably.
  • Ability to multitask and manage shifting priorities.
  • Preferred bilingual fluency in Spanish and English.
  • OSHA 30-Hour Training certification or equivalent safety training experience preferred.
  • Experience writing safety manuals, compliance documentation, or construction-focused materials preferred.
  • Familiarity with contractor compliance platforms and requirements preferred.
  • Experience working with subject-matter experts and translating technical language into user-friendly content preferred.
  • Reliable work setup including a primary internet connection of at least 15 Mbps and a backup connection of at least 10 Mbps.
  • Desktop or laptop with an Intel Core i5 8th gen or newer, Intel Core i3 10th gen or newer, AMD Ryzen 5, or equivalent processor, plus at least 8 GB RAM.
  • Functional backup device meeting at least Intel Core i3 performance and usable during power interruptions.
  • Functioning webcam, noise-canceling USB headset, quiet dedicated home office space, and smartphone for communication and verification.
