Description

  • Perform thorough manual testing of web-based systems and related platforms.
  • Conduct regression, smoke, and sanity testing to verify stability and performance.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs and issues through resolution.
  • Create clear, detailed, and organized test case documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of test results, bug reports, and fixes.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and validate fixes.
  • Participate in review sessions to confirm features meet quality standards before release.
  • Study user manuals and Confluence resources to stay current on features, processes, and best practices.
  • Understand platform workflows and the business processes they support.
  • Learn to perform and interpret HTTP calls to support testing needs.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of professional experience in software quality assurance or a closely related field.
  • Proven experience identifying, documenting, and resolving issues.
  • Extensive experience in manual testing of web-based platforms and applications.
  • Ability to design, execute, and maintain comprehensive test cases.
  • Strong expertise in test automation and maintaining automated test scripts.
  • Proficiency in regression testing and setting up automated regression suites.
  • Experience with Selenium WebDriver, or Playwright / Cypress for modern web automation.
  • Ability to understand and write code primarily in JavaScript.
  • Experience with Postman for manual API testing.
  • Experience with JUnit, TestNG, NUnit, or PyTest for unit and integration testing.
  • Experience with JMeter for performance testing.
  • SQL knowledge for querying and validating database records.
  • Experience using Git platforms such as GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
  • Experience with browser developer tools for debugging and inspection.
  • Experience with Jenkins for CI/CD test execution pipelines.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps for work tracking, testing, and collaboration.
  • Experience with Maven, Gradle, or npm for building and managing test frameworks.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, including use of Slack and Google Docs.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to document processes and issues with accuracy and clarity.
  • Familiarity with regression, smoke, and sanity testing concepts.
  • Basic understanding of HTTP calls and web application functionality is a plus.
  • Experience with Confluence or similar documentation tools is a plus.
  • Primary internet connection of at least 15 Mbps and a backup connection of at least 10 Mbps.
  • Desktop or laptop with at least an Intel Core i5 8th generation or newer, Intel Core i3 10th generation or newer, AMD Ryzen 5, or equivalent processor.
  • Primary device with a minimum of 8 GB RAM.
  • Backup device that meets or exceeds the performance of an Intel Core i3 processor and works during power interruptions.
  • Functioning webcam and noise-canceling USB headset.
  • Quiet, dedicated home office space.
  • Smartphone for communication and verification purposes.
