Description

  • Develop and execute strategies to drive business growth and revenue through outbound sales activities.
  • Collaborate with marketing to plan and roll out initiatives targeting new channels of business.
  • Leverage sales automation, AI, funnel management, and prospecting tools to generate a qualified sales pipeline.
  • Set goals for the business development team and develop strategies to meet those goals.
  • Prepare financial reports and revenue projections to inform strategy and forecasting.
  • Build and maintain client and partner relationships through networking, meetings, demos, and social selling.
  • Oversee and direct the performance of the outbound sales team, audit team, and sales enablement team, including end-to-end sales execution.
  • Train new sales team members to execute end-to-end outbound sales activities and improve team performance.
  • Define and maintain KPI tracking (including HubSpot dashboarding) and continuously adjust outbound efforts to align with organizational strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, or a related field.
  • Solid experience in B2B sales and leading sales teams at funded or bootstrapped startups.
  • Proven track record of building profitable client and partner relationships through social selling and networking.
  • Demonstrated experience building sales pipelines and creating effective sales workflows.
  • Strong communication skills, tech fluency, and ability to manage complex projects and generate critical business reports.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
  • Technical proficiency with basic sales tools such as sales CRMs, VOIP systems, and Google Workspace.
  • Extra points for HubSpot experience and experience with sales enablement tools.
  • Home office technical requirements: at least 15 Mbps primary internet and 10 Mbps backup; a desktop/laptop with an i5 processor and 8 GB RAM (i3 processor for backup); backups that can function during power interruptions; webcam; noise-canceling USB headset; quiet, dedicated home office; smartphone.
