Description

  • Independently review medical records, bills, and supporting documents to ensure demand-ready accuracy.
  • Verify billing and treatment timelines, including dates, providers, and gaps, and flag documentation issues before assembly.
  • Build and organize complete demand packages with properly labeled supporting exhibits.
  • Identify missing records, bills, liens, or other key documents and communicate what is needed to close the file.
  • Navigate disorganized or incomplete case files to locate relevant documents quickly and confidently.
  • Maintain consistent exhibit preparation and documentation standards for attorney review.
  • Support demand submission workflows using demand preparation software such as EvenUp or similar tools.
  • Manage multiple active demands at once while meeting volume and deadline expectations.
  • Track and update demand tasks and statuses in the case management system to keep workflows moving.
  • Contribute to process improvements that reduce rework and improve quality at scale.

Requirements

  • Plaintiff personal injury experience with hands-on, practical exposure.
  • Direct experience drafting PI demand letters and packages, not only assisting an attorney.
  • Strong independent medical record and bill review skills, including identifying gaps, inconsistencies, and missing items.
  • Experience preparing demand packages from record intake through final assembly.
  • Experience working in a case management system, with Filevine strongly preferred.
  • Comfort operating in a high-volume environment with large backlogs and shifting priorities.
  • Strong written English skills for attorney-facing work.
  • EvenUp experience or experience with similar demand platforms is preferred.
  • Familiarity with California PI workflows and demand expectations is preferred.
  • Proven ability to maintain quality while drafting 15–30+ demands per month is preferred.
  • Confidence working independently with minimal supervision is preferred.
  • Experience creating repeatable checklists or templates to improve speed and consistency is preferred.
