Description

  • Participate in client discovery, business process discussions, fit-gap analysis, and requirements gathering.
  • Prepare Functional Solution Designs, configuration workbooks, test scripts, and deployment documentation.
  • Configure Oracle Cloud Payroll in hands-on implementation projects.
  • Define data conversion requirements, mapping needs, and business validation activities, and support conversion testing and issue resolution.
  • Develop functional designs for integrations, reports, Fast Formulas, data conversions, and application enhancements.
  • Support unit testing, validate delivered solutions, and troubleshoot implementation issues with technical and cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate across Core HR, Time and Labor, Absence Management, Benefits, Compensation, and General Ledger to resolve functional issues.
  • Define SIT scenarios and coordinate end-to-end testing across Payroll and related modules, including defect resolution.
  • Support CRPs and UAT by validating business processes and resolving functional issues.
  • Lead parallel payroll testing, including payroll reconciliation, variance analysis, and validation of payroll results, taxes, deductions, costing, and balances.
  • Conduct client-facing knowledge transfer sessions, configuration walkthroughs, and solution validation meetings.
  • Support cutover, production deployment, and approximately 30 days of post-go-live stabilization.

Requirements

  • 4–8 years of Oracle HCM experience with strong expertise in Oracle Cloud Payroll.
  • Hands-on experience with at least 3 Oracle Cloud Payroll implementations.
  • At least one full end-to-end Oracle Cloud Payroll implementation from discovery through go-live and hypercare/post-production support.
  • Strong hands-on Oracle Cloud Payroll configuration experience.
  • Experience with Core HR, Time and Labor, Absence Management, Benefits, Compensation, and General Ledger.
  • Experience gathering requirements, performing fit-gap analysis, preparing FSDs, and supporting configuration, data conversion, CRPs, SIT, UAT, parallel testing, deployment, and post-production support.
  • Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills, including remote customer engagements.
  • Ability to work effectively with onshore and offshore functional and technical teams.
  • Oracle Cloud Payroll Certification is a plus.
  • Experience supporting US Government/Public Sector implementations, including City, County, State, and Higher Education organizations, is preferred.
  • Knowledge of US Payroll legislation and regulatory requirements is preferred.
  • Oracle Cloud HCM Release 25+ experience is required.
