Description

  • Stabilize and scale mission-critical phone platform services by addressing bottlenecks, fault tolerance, and high availability.
  • Optimize CPU, memory, network usage, and other resources to support large-scale operations while reducing cloud costs.
  • Lead refactoring and modernization efforts to reduce technical debt and replace legacy systems with scalable patterns.
  • Strengthen platform security, compliance, data protection, access controls, and auditability.
  • Improve tooling, observability, and automation to increase developer productivity and engineering velocity.
  • Collaborate with product, infrastructure, and engineering teams to align on platform priorities and execution.
  • Guide engineers, set architectural standards, and help drive the platform roadmap.
  • Make high-impact engineering decisions and contribute to long-term technical excellence across the platform.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of backend engineering experience.
  • Experience designing fault-tolerant systems and working on high-scale platforms.
  • Deep expertise in distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and asynchronous job processing.
  • Strong experience with relational and NoSQL data models, especially complex temporal data.
  • Proven ability to architect complex systems and deliver scalable, high-performance web applications in production.
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns, API design, and microservices architecture in a multi-tenant environment.
  • Experience with code quality practices, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and dev tooling optimization.
  • Ability to guide technical architecture, make high-impact engineering decisions, and mentor other engineers.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and clear, collaborative communication.
  • Experience with AI tools and contributions to open-source tools, internal platforms, or engineering blogs (preferred).
  • Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular, and building full-stack web applications (preferred).
