Description

  • Build and evolve high-performance APIs and microservices in Go with a focus on reliability, low latency, and scale.
  • Own features and services end to end, from discovery and design through production rollout and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with product and business teams to turn payment problems into technical solutions.
  • Strengthen and expand integration frameworks across countries, providers, and complex payment rails.
  • Apply OWASP principles and engineering best practices to improve security, privacy, and data protection.
  • Contribute to agile delivery, continuous improvement, and engineering craftsmanship within a senior team.
  • Support integration work related to payment service providers and the broader payments ecosystem.

Requirements

  • +3 years of experience.
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin, both written and spoken.
  • Proficiency in Golang.
  • Experience with Kotlin or Java is a nice to have.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of unit testing.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Git.
  • Knowledge of SQL and Postgres.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical problems to both technical and business audiences.
  • Adaptability to a constantly changing roadmap and autonomy in task execution.
  • Security knowledge with OWASP principles.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and frameworks.
  • Experience in the payment industry is preferred.
  • Experience integrating Payment Service Providers is preferred.
  • Knowledge of frontend languages is preferred.
