Description

  • Own large features end to end from design through production deployment.
  • Drive key architectural decisions and contribute to technical design discussions.
  • Build and optimize backend services in Node.js and frontend experiences in Vue.js.
  • Design scalable, maintainable systems and produce clear high-level and low-level design documents.
  • Develop and maintain REST APIs, microservices, and production-ready application components.
  • Debug complex production issues, tune performance, and support incident response.
  • Implement logging, monitoring, alerting, and other production-readiness practices.
  • Write and advocate for unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
  • Mentor junior engineers and lead code reviews and best-practice guidance.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA engineers, and peers during planning and execution.

Requirements

  • 4-5+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Strong backend development experience with Node.js.
  • Expertise in frontend development with Vue.js.
  • Solid understanding of software architecture, microservices, and system design.
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB or Firestore.
  • Comfort with CI/CD processes, containerization, and cloud environments.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially GCP.
  • Proven leadership in mentoring and leading projects.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Experience with message queues such as Kafka or RabbitMQ (nice to have).
  • Exposure to domain-driven design and event-driven architecture (nice to have).
  • Contributions to open source or technical blogs (nice to have).
