Description

  • Own the full lifecycle of the Opportunities backend, from customer needs through production services.
  • Design and evolve data models for pipelines, stages, deals, and related entities.
  • Build and scale APIs, event-driven workflows, background jobs, automations, and integrations.
  • Address distributed-systems challenges including idempotency, eventual consistency, race conditions, hot tenants, and noisy-neighbor isolation.
  • Improve large-pipeline performance through indexing, sharding, caching, and query optimization.
  • Build AI-assisted features using context assembly, prompt and response contracts, caching, cost and latency controls, graceful degradation, and quality feedback loops.
  • Ship occasional end-to-end UI changes in Vue.js.
  • Implement observability through logs, metrics, traces, and SLOs.
  • Lead incident response, postmortems, and ongoing engineering hygiene.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience building and operating production backend systems at scale.
  • Strong foundations in SQL and NoSQL data modeling, API design, and distributed systems.
  • Production experience with Node.js or Go.
  • Experience owning services end-to-end, including design, development, deployment, and on-call support.
  • Ability to work independently in ambiguous, high-ownership environments.
  • Understanding of scalability, performance, and reliability trade-offs.
  • Experience with CRM, sales, pipeline, or workflow products (preferred).
  • Experience with multi-tenant SaaS, sharding, tenant isolation, and fair-use limits (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Kafka or Redis Streams, queues, asynchronous processing, MongoDB, Postgres, Elasticsearch, or ClickHouse (preferred).
  • Experience shipping customer-facing features backed by LLM or similar AI APIs, plus Vue.js frontend fluency (preferred).
