Description

  • Own and contribute to architecture and development across frontend and backend products.
  • Develop and optimize backend API services with test-driven development, caching, and messaging for reliability and scalability.
  • Deliver high-quality frontend experiences using modern component-based frameworks and state management patterns.
  • Integrate and support observability, logging, and monitoring to improve reliability and incident response.
  • Apply security best practices across frontend, backend, and API layers, including authentication, authorization, rate-limiting, and OWASP guidance.
  • Use LLMs and AI tools to write, refactor, test, and debug code efficiently while implementing reliability guardrails.
  • Participate in design reviews, deep dives, and on-call rotations to support operational excellence.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to shape platform growth, stability, and user experience.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of hands-on software engineering experience building and scaling backend systems and high-performance frontend applications.
  • Strong backend engineering and distributed systems design experience, including API development, data modeling, and systems architecture.
  • Experience with Node.js, with NestJS preferred, TypeScript, MongoDB, and Redis.
  • Expertise in backend performance optimization, caching strategies, and event-driven architectures such as Redis, Kafka, or Pub/Sub.
  • Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks such as Vue, Angular, or React, plus UI engineering patterns and CSS libraries like Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS.
  • Advanced experience with state management libraries such as Redux, Vuex, or MobX.
  • Proven ability to optimize frontend performance and web vitals at scale, including experience with SSR, edge, or hybrid rendering architectures.
  • Familiarity with observability tools and practices, including monitoring, tracing, error tracking, and performance profiling in production, such as Grafana, Prometheus, Sentry, or PostHog.
  • Strong understanding of security best practices across the full stack, including authentication, authorization, access control, secure data flow, and privacy compliance.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to lead technical discussions and mentor junior engineers.
