Description

  • Design and build highly scalable and reliable backend services for the Contacts domain using Node.js, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch.
  • Develop and optimize frontend user interfaces using Vue.js or a similar framework.
  • Design and implement real-time data processing pipelines using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.
  • Work on autoscaling, database sharding, and indexing strategies to support high transaction volumes.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Data Engineers, and DevOps teams to align on product vision, execution, and business goals.
  • Implement secure, maintainable, and scalable code that follows industry best practices.
  • Perform code reviews and help enforce engineering standards across the team.
  • Manage timelines, oversee deployments, and ensure smooth releases with minimal downtime.
  • Mentor developers and guide best practices in software development, clean architecture, and performance optimization.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of hands-on software development experience.
  • Strong proficiency with Node.js, Vue.js or React/Angular, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch.
  • Experience with real-time data processing, message queues such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ, and event-driven architectures.
  • Proven experience scaling services to 200k+ MAUs and working with high-throughput systems.
  • Strong understanding of database sharding, indexing, and performance optimization.
  • Experience with distributed systems, microservices, and cloud infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, Git version control, and automated testing.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities for guiding engineers and collaborating with stakeholders.
  • Experience with accessibility and internationalization best practices is preferred.
