Description

  • Take ownership of the quality of new features and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with product managers and engineers to understand requirements and user workflows.
  • Design and execute manual test cases, including functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
  • Build and maintain automation test scripts for UI and API validations.
  • Identify QA process bottlenecks and drive continuous improvements.
  • Participate in sprint ceremonies, bug triages, and release readiness discussions.
  • Track, report, and validate defects using defect management tools.
  • Support integration testing with external APIs and third-party delivery software.
  • Ensure high-quality test execution in Agile Scrum or Kanban environments.
  • Work with senior SDETs and developers to scale automation and adopt best practices.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in software testing, preferably in SaaS or web applications.
  • Strong knowledge of API testing and performance testing using tools such as Postman or JMeter.
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and browser debugging tools.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar.
  • Good programming skills in at least one language: Java, Python, JavaScript/Node.js, TypeScript, or Ruby.
  • Solid understanding of OOP concepts and design patterns.
  • Experience with source control tools such as Git or SVN.
  • Knowledge of Agile software development, including Scrum or Kanban, and the QA role within it.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple test executions.
  • Exposure to white box and black box testing approaches is preferred.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments is preferred.
  • Prior experience with automation in distributed systems or API-heavy applications is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of performance and security testing concepts is preferred.
