Description

  • Support DevSecOps efforts to improve delivery speed, reduce defects, and increase productivity through continuous integration and continuous deployment practices.
  • Help establish CI/CD pipeline guidelines, standards, and implementation strategies.
  • Communicate with development teams to ensure adherence to CI/CD guidelines and standard DevSecOps processes.
  • Support technical planning, configuration, integration, verification, and validation of the pipeline toolchain.
  • Implement automated methods to improve system performance and reliability through scripting, integration, and problem resolution.
  • Learn the business workflows, technical architecture, and dependent systems of the supported services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate DevSecOps practices into the CI/CD implementation.
  • Troubleshoot pipeline issues and provide solutions.
  • Support implementation of security measures throughout the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Create and maintain documentation for DevSecOps processes and tools.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software development or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience supporting DevOps or DevSecOps efforts to reengineer and automate the software development process.
  • Experience with DevSecOps techniques, continuous integration, continuous testing, and continuous deployment.
  • Proficiency with distributed source control systems such as Git.
  • Experience with dependency management tools.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or TFS.
  • Understanding of Pipeline as Code scripting technologies.
  • Experience with static code analysis tools such as SonarQube, Nexus IQ Server, or Fortify.
  • Hands-on experience integrating static code analysis tools into a CI/CD pipeline.
  • Familiarity with open-source test automation tools such as Selenium.
  • Experience working on a large software development program using Agile methodology, preferably SAFe, is preferred.
  • Experience implementing DevSecOps for a cloud-based modernization program is preferred.
  • Knowledge of cloud service platforms such as AWS or Azure is preferred.
  • Experience with container orchestration tools such as Docker-compose is preferred.
  • Familiarity with container management platforms such as OpenShift is preferred.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet is preferred.
  • Knowledge of continuous monitoring tools such as the ELK Stack is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications in DevOps, cloud platforms, or security are preferred.
  • Must be a US citizen or legal resident able to work domestically.
  • Must be able to attain a low-level security clearance.
