Description

  • Represent Highland professionally at customer locations.
  • Support go-live activities for new EV charging sites and escalate risks or delays to the Commissioning Engineer.
  • Inspect new vehicles, verify readiness, and document findings before site activation.
  • Assist with asset inspections, diagnosis, troubleshooting, and on-site repairs.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, charger plug cycles, and commissioning service activities.
  • Conduct low-voltage battery replacements and jump-starts as needed.
  • Maintain accurate commissioning, inspection, and service records in company tracking platforms.
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain tools, equipment, and clean work areas.
  • Provide strong customer service throughout the go-live process.
  • Participate in training to develop EV systems, project coordination, and technical skills.

Requirements

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accurate documentation skills.
  • Proficiency with computers, spreadsheets, documentation tools, and asset or project management platforms.
  • Basic electrical and AC skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, time-management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
  • Willingness to travel 50–75% throughout the United States and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when required.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions.
  • Automotive Technology certification from an accredited school preferred.
  • Willingness to develop project management and coordination skills; prior experience is a plus.
