Description

  • Represent Highland professionally at customer locations.
  • Support go-live activities for new EV charging sites and escalate risks or delays to the Commissioning Engineer.
  • Conduct vehicle inspections, verify readiness, and document findings before site activation.
  • Inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair customer assets as needed.
  • Operate high-voltage chargers, including plug cycles and commissioning service response.
  • Perform low-voltage battery replacements and jump-starts.
  • Maintain accurate, timely records using asset management and project tracking platforms.
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain tools, equipment, and clean work areas.
  • Provide strong customer service throughout the commissioning process.
  • Participate in training and develop technical and project coordination expertise.

Requirements

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accurate documentation skills.
  • Proficiency with computers, spreadsheets, documentation tools, and asset or project management platforms.
  • Basic electrical and AC skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, time-management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Automotive Technology certification from an accredited school preferred.
  • Willingness to develop project management and coordination skills; prior experience is a plus.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions.
  • Willingness to travel 50–75% and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when required.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
