Description

  • Work closely with art and design teams to create and iterate on gameplay features.
  • Use rapid prototyping while making strong architectural and algorithmic decisions.
  • Write robust, understandable code and systems designed for long-term use and maintenance.
  • Improve existing gameplay systems by diagnosing and fixing networking and gameplay issues.
  • Contribute ideas across all aspects of game production and development.
  • Help drive the development of future gameplay features.
  • Collaborate with gameplay programmers, designers, and artists to shape gameplay experiences.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5-8+ years of experience working with Unreal Engine in the gaming industry, including UE4 and UE5.
  • Professional game development experience on PC and consoles with shipped titles.
  • Strong C++ and Epic Blueprint skills, with the ability to code and architect gameplay mechanics and tools.
  • Strong math skills.
  • A keen analytical mind with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Well-versed in games and able to articulate strengths and weaknesses of game design.
  • Interest in online games preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluent written and verbal English.
  • Self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
  • Passion for video games.
