Description

  • Own engineering delivery, maintenance, and production operations for assigned areas of the HHAeXchange SaaS platforms.
  • Deliver new features and improve existing components with a focus on quality, scalability, performance, security, stability, and maintainability.
  • Lead multiple engineering teams, including engineering managers, tech leads, and individual contributors.
  • Drive predictable execution through planning, prioritization, accountability, and strong delivery discipline.
  • Coach and develop engineering leaders and team members through mentorship, feedback, and professional development.
  • Lead modernization efforts, including cloud and architectural improvements, refactoring, technical debt reduction, and platform upgrades.
  • Partner with Architecture, QA, Product, and Operations leaders on design reviews, governance, release planning, change management, and production readiness.
  • Ensure incident response, troubleshooting, rollback readiness, and operational support practices are effective across production systems.
  • Drive development and adoption of AI-enabled capabilities across the SaaS platforms in partnership with Product, Architecture, and Data/AI stakeholders.
  • Establish best practices and guardrails for AI-assisted SDLC tools and automation across development, testing, code review, and documentation.
  • Work with VP Software Engineering and the CTO to define strategy and execute the engineering vision.
  • Support recruiting, technical staffing, training, and team formation for software engineering groups.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience developing, deploying, monitoring, and supporting applications.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing highly skilled software development teams across the US and globally.
  • Proven experience leading AI-enabled software products, including machine learning, automation, or intelligent decisioning in enterprise SaaS.
  • Experience driving adoption of AI-assisted SDLC tools such as Cursor or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of responsible AI practices, including quality, security, privacy, explainability, and maintainability.
  • Strong requirements gathering, analysis, and questioning skills.
  • Strong understanding of software engineering best practices across design, development, testing, release, and operational support.
  • Experience leading teams supporting business-critical enterprise SaaS systems such as healthcare platforms, billing systems, ERP, or workflow systems.
  • Experience reviewing and guiding engineering execution across architecture, code quality, deployments, performance, and stability.
  • Familiarity with API and service-based architecture, cloud infrastructure, and incident response.
  • Extensive experience with .NET, Angular, Web Services/APIs, and SQL Server or comparable enterprise SaaS technologies.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes or equivalent containerization and orchestration platforms.
  • Experience with AWS cloud services; AWS certification is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to drive outcomes across engineering and cross-functional partners.
  • Ability to lead through ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and deliver predictable results.
  • Must be able to work remotely from the US in EST or CST time zones.
  • Travel up to 10%, including overnight travel.

  • Base salary range of $189,000 to $208,000 per year, plus variable compensation.
