Description

  • Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System in line with EN 9100, ISO 9001, and AQAP standards.
  • Monitor quality data such as NCRs and OFIs to identify trends and drive improvement.
  • Plan, manage, and conduct internal QMS audits.
  • Support preparation for and execution of third-party certification body and customer audits.
  • Act as the responsible Quality Assurance Engineer on programmes and oversee quality assurance execution.
  • Engage in contract requirements development and translate requirements into practical quality plans.
  • Coordinate, sign off, and monitor quality plans across project workstreams.
  • Work with engineering teams to embed software quality requirements throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Liaise with process owners, project teams, and external stakeholders, including defence customers and quality representatives.
  • Represent the Quality function at formal customer interfaces.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in quality assurance within aerospace, defence, or another regulated industry.
  • Solid working knowledge of EN 9100, including ISO 9001.
  • Familiarity with AQAP 2110, AQAP 2210, or AQAP 2310 is a strong advantage.
  • Experience with development assurance in software-intensive environments.
  • Hands-on experience conducting internal or external audits.
  • Experience working with quality plans in a project context.
  • Ability to communicate confidently and precisely in both English and German, written and spoken.
  • Comfort working with multicultural teams and formal defence customer and regulatory interfaces.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities across QMS and programme workstreams.
  • Strong analytical and structured thinking skills with a rigorous and pragmatic approach.
  • A university degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
