Description

  • Lead knowledge management initiatives and manage operational knowledge using engaging, innovative methods.
  • Research, implement, and improve a knowledge management system that enhances information organization and user satisfaction.
  • Identify, classify, and track operational knowledge assets such as job aids, SOPs, policies, guides, training materials, scripts, and email templates.
  • Partner with subject matter experts to keep knowledge accurate, concise, and up to date.
  • Consult with cross-functional teams to document requirements and practices clearly.
  • Design and implement cross-functional knowledge approval processes.
  • Maintain operational knowledge content and drive continuous improvement.
  • Track additional knowledge management needs such as technical writing and instructional design.
  • Mentor and lead employees supporting knowledge management initiatives.
  • Use technology such as emulators and simulators to provide realistic references to the website and app.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Communications, Information Science, Journalism, Library Science, or Management, or industry-approved knowledge management certifications.
  • 4+ years of experience in knowledge management, learning and development, content creation, or a related field.
  • Experience owning small to medium-sized projects.
  • Experience contributing to and owning aspects of large-scale projects.
  • Experience acting in a leadership capacity in the workplace.
  • Strong passion for learning and implementing knowledge management methodologies and tools.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and work proactively and persuasively with other teams.
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments and delivering high-quality solutions quickly.
  • Ability to work autonomously while navigating new and ambiguous business initiatives.
  • Excellent facilitation, program management, and communication skills.
  • Experience using knowledge management and documentation platforms such as Confluence, Readme, or Documentum.
  • Experience in a regulated environment within financial services or related functions is preferred, but not required.
