Description

  • Support General Ledger processes and contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities.
  • Collaborate with finance and non-finance teams and external providers to maintain and improve shared processes, tools, and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, internal and external audit requirements, and local regulatory standards.
  • Strengthen financial processes and internal controls through continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in local, regional, and global finance projects as needed.
  • Act as an advocate for the finance function within the organization.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and support ongoing improvements.
  • Support the transition and stabilization of finance, tax, or accounting processes from European entities to Poland, depending on experience.

Requirements

  • A degree in finance or accounting.
  • Professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA, ACA, or CMA are highly valued.
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel and comfort working with financial data and reporting tools.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English; additional languages such as French, German, Italian, or Dutch are an advantage.
  • Experience working in an international environment, preferably within SSC/BSC structures.
  • Problem-solving skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to propose improvements.
  • Strong customer service orientation and teamwork skills.
  • Excellent organization, discipline, and ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
