Description

  • Coordinate warehouse team activities and provide coaching and guidance to workers.
  • Work alongside the team and step in as needed to maintain productivity.
  • Follow and enforce safety, GMP, SQF, PPE, and hygiene policies and procedures.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for procurement communication and end-of-day finance reporting.
  • Perform data entry for inventory and produce invoices and update information in computer systems.
  • Coordinate door availability for inbound and outbound drivers.
  • Distribute daily workload based on priority and employee ability.
  • Train new employees on standard operating procedures and coach employees to follow company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and report defective equipment or unsafe conditions.
  • Collaborate with other departments such as Quality and Production to solve problems.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED, or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of related experience preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
  • Must be able to work the entire scheduled shift without partial shifts or early/late arrivals.
  • Must have basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and fractions.
  • Must have basic computer skills, including data entry, Microsoft Office, and Google Sheets.
  • Must successfully obtain certification as a power material handling equipment operator.
  • Must be certified to operate material handling equipment as needed by the location.
  • Strong organizational skills, excellent written communication, and the ability to prioritize tasks and communicate a plan.
