Description

  • Coordinate and provide coaching and guidance to sanitation team members while working alongside the team to maintain productivity.
  • Oversee and perform sanitation duties throughout the facility, including waste removal, debris cleanup, box transport, and sanitizing equipment, floors, tools, and receptacles.
  • Support the production department by cleaning and preparing the facility for the next shift.
  • Enforce safety, GMP, SQF, PPE, and hygiene policies and procedures in cooperation with the supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly work area and follow prescribed safety regulations.
  • Perform routine sanitation equipment maintenance to ensure equipment functions properly.
  • Communicate with Quality, Production, and other departments to collaborate and solve problems when needed.
  • Report all food safety and sanitation issues to the immediate supervisor.
  • Respectfully follow direction from supervisors or management and complete tasks with minimal supervision.

Requirements

  • Food manufacturing experience.
  • Leadership experience and the ability to foster team cooperation for a large group of employees.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Sheets preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple assignments while meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to adapt to Factor_ programs and procedures.
  • Ability to work a full-time schedule that includes Sunday-Wednesday, 2:15 pm-12:45 am, with overtime as needed.
  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, reach, and lift for 10 to 12 hours with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds with or without assistance.
