Description

  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers via phone, email, and live chat.
  • Respond to customer inquiries quickly and professionally while meeting response-time and satisfaction SLAs.
  • Assist customers with general questions, switching processes, invoices, and meter readings.
  • Handle customer calls efficiently and maintain a positive customer experience.
  • Resolve complex cases pragmatically and sustainably in collaboration with 2nd Level Support.
  • Develop knowledge of energy industry topics and products such as EDIFACT and dynamic tariffs.
  • Work closely with internal teams to support issue resolution and service quality.

Requirements

  • Native-level German (C2) fluency, both written and spoken, is required.
  • Good English communication skills for internal collaboration with an international team.
  • Experience in customer service, ideally handling phone, email, or live chat support.
  • Experience using Intercom or a similar customer support platform.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks or conversations simultaneously while maintaining quality and professionalism.
  • Proactive, structured, and solution-oriented working style.
  • Ability to explain complex topics clearly and simply to customers.
  • Initial experience in the energy industry is a plus, but not required.
  • Willingness to work from home and visit the BGC office to pick up equipment.
